How To Use Voodoo Bacon
Voodoo Bacon is unlike your average bacon. Voodoo Bacon is nitrate, preservative and anti-oxidant free.
It may turn brown due to oxidisation, once the package is opened. This is why we also sell slabs of Voodoo Bacon. This retains the pink colour we have grown accustomed to in bacon. The oxidation only affects the colour and not the taste or longevity of Voodoo Bacon.
Due to the absence of chemicals we use salt to cure our bacon. This gives it a more intense flavour. Many people love to cook with Voodoo Bacon. It is delicious when sliced thin for breakfast but its salty, sweet, smoky flavour really booms when it is diced or sliced and used in your favourite dishes.
